Don’t Wait for the Ball to Drop: Start Now.
Hey Friends,
As the twinkle lights dim and the leftover cookies somehow keep disappearing, I wanted to take a moment to say: THANK YOU!.
2025 was a wild, beautiful ride. I launched my book (Confessions of a Coach—still not over it), spoke on stages and podcasts across the country, and watched a vision I held in my heart become reality. I’m beyond grateful—for every client, reader, friend, and colleague who’s been part of this chapter.
And let me tell you something: God is good. Every open door, every answered prayer, every challenge that became growth—He’s in all of it.
But let’s talk about this week.
You know the one.
The weird space between Christmas and New Year’s where time isn’t real, leftovers are a food group, and you keep forgetting what day it is.
Too many people treat this week like a throwaway.
- “Oh, I’ll start fresh in January.”
- “I’ll get back on track next year.”
- “I’ll plan my goals once the calendar flips.”
But here’s the thing:
- If you’re already procrastinating before the year starts… guess what habit you’re carrying into 2026?
Yep. That one.
So let’s not wait for a Monday. Or January. Or a perfect plan.
Let’s start now. Small. Messy. Imperfect. But moving.
3 Things You Can Do This Week:
1. Start Small. Start Now.
- Want to walk 20 minutes a day? Lace up and go.
- Want to read a book a month? Crack one open tonight.
- Want to wake up earlier? Set your alarm tomorrow
You don’t need a full plan. You need a first step.
Consistency isn’t built in January—it’s built today.
2. Reverse Engineer Your Goals
If you want to make $250K next year, don’t just write the number on a vision board and hope the universe delivers. Break it down:
- That’s ~$20,800/month
- Which is ~$5,200/week
- Which means you need to know what actions drive income daily
Same goes for health, business growth, writing a book, you name it.
Think big. Then zoom in.
Quarter → Month → Week → Day.
3. Track What Actually Moves the Needle
Instead of obsessing over the end goal (like losing 25 pounds), track the daily behaviors that get you there:
- Did you go to the gym?
- Did you eat 2 healthy meals?
- Did you walk the dog instead of scrolling?
Those small wins?
They build confidence, momentum, and yes—results.
Remember, you don’t rise to your goals—you fall to your systems. So build ones that work.

In Closing
I’m so thankful for you.
I’m excited for what’s ahead.
And I’m praying blessings over you and your family as we close out this year.
Let 2026 be the year you stop waiting and start becoming.
Not because you flipped a calendar…
But because you decided, every day, to show up and win small.Let’s go.
